GIRL!!! It is a perfect and perfectly beautiful little girl! I feel so blessed and grateful.
I never cared much for profile pics on facebook, etc. that are pictures of babies in the womb. Except for Liz Wilcken's because her picture is of twins, and that's cool. But for everybody else, I usually think, "Thanks for showing me your insides." I mean--of course, they're showing the baby and that's really exciting, but it's just not that exciting unless it's your baby or a sibling's baby. Do you know what I mean?
Anyway, that idea has changed now that I have pictures of my own "insides" and there is the cutest little girl--a baby that I feel like I already know--pictured there. SHE IS SO ADORABLE!
I have included two pictures of her. First, her profile. Second, her legs crossed--so funny!
Look at that little nose and those big lips! Both Erickson features, I believe.
The bottom blob is the placenta. The bulge to the right is her belly (nice belly, huh?) and hopefully you can see her little legs crossed in the middle. She was seriously laying straight out the whole time--I'm a little afraid of what will happen when she gets bigger... Here, look at a pic of her leg--totally straight out! I thought babies were supposed to curl up in a little ball...
Ow, I can feel my ribs hurting just thinking about the future... But WHO CARES! I'm having a baby!!

ReplyDeleteYou are so stinking cute!! I am very excited for you two!!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! Annie, I literally cried when I read this blog post. I had NO idea you were expecting and I am SOOOOO happy for you. Congrats! She'll be as beautiful as her Mommy, inside and out! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteWOOHOO!!! What a cute nose! I'm definitely a fan of this little girl. :)
ReplyDeleteYay!! She is cute! And you're right...until you have a little one of your own, it's hard to understand why people are so crazy about their babies and posting a billion pictures of them.
ReplyDeleteHopefully she is kind and decides not to use to you too much like a hammock.
Annie, and John... I am so elated for you both. I remember our first ultrasound! So exciting and she is darling. You are blessed and this baby brings much healing and blessings. Love you and keep on treking, March will be here before you know it!!!!! Any names yet?!
ReplyDeleteWAHOOOO! She is wonderful and when she's old enough, I'm going to have to have a little heart to heart with her and tell her straight up: she's got the best parents known to... baby...! We love you. Many, many congratulations. She and Matilda will have to be buddies (although I admit, I wouldn't have been sad if you were having a boy--we're always up for arranged marriages with wonderful people. Maybe next time...!) Much love!
ReplyDeleteI think her profile looks like John. We'll have to wait and see! Soooo exciting! :D
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Annie! I'm so happy for you!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! We love girls!
ReplyDeleteYay!!!
ReplyDeleteSo cute!!! Robert and I both are so overwhelmingly excited for you guys! Like there will be times where out of nowhere one of us will randomly say, "I'm so happy for the Eriksons!"
ReplyDeleteP.S. Just a random side note. If your pictures are set up the same as mine were, that number under your name is your social security number. If that's the case you might want to crop it off or blot it out. That's the easiest way to get your identity stolen. But if it's just like a patient number you should be fine :)
That is so wonderful! Congratulations you guys!!!
ReplyDeleteThose are really cool, clear ultrasound pics. I didn't think mine were all that great. Congrats on having a girl! She looks so cute!
ReplyDeleteSo excited for you. Girls are the best!
ReplyDeleteI'm partial to girls myself :) Congrats.
ReplyDeleteYou got some great pictures--she's darling! Again, we are SO excited for you guys!!
ReplyDeleteWow! You are practically at the half way point now! Woot!
ReplyDeleteI am so excited you are having a little girl. She is just so cute! I guess the photographer in me loves to see pics of everybody's babies.
And FYI, she still has a little room to stretch out, but that will change soon and she will start to curl up more (but still try to stretch out, lol). We have pics of Cameron doing the same thing, but he ran out of space real fast!
Yay!!! Congrats!! She is so cute!
ReplyDeleteOh Annie how I love you and love this little girlie already! We're all getting quite excited here to meet her in person. I hope your pregnancy is going great and that John is taking care of you like a good husband (I know he is)! We love and miss you guys and wish we were there to celebrate with you two!
ReplyDeleteOh, Annie... what to say. I read over it all. Words cannot express. We love you guys so much. You are part of our family, and we are just so incredibly happy. Two weeks after I had Grace I went to Stake Conference. The visiting authority was telling a story about a conversation between two people (I'm not sure who, I was in the mother's lounge and it was kind of loud, something to look forward to) and one of them asked, "If the blessings of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob are posterity, why was Abraham asked to sacrifice Issac?" The answer was given, "Because Abraham had to learn something about Abraham."
ReplyDeleteThis line was very personal to me. I think it may be to you too.
Annie- I am so excited for you guys!!! I got your text and was wondering. Now I see it on your blog. CONGRATS!!! I can't think of 2 more wonderful parents than you and John.
ReplyDeleteAnd what a cutie! I love that she already crosses her legs lady style! Too cute!!!
Yippeee! A girl! I am SO EXCITED for you!
